It was a calm and ordinary week for Moldova Stock Exchange: the indexes didn't evolve, the number of transactions was relatively small, the turnover - anemic (a bit over 3 mil lei) etc. As usual, the biggest transactions were on voice auctions and not on buy and sell (as it should be).

Even if the turnover of buy and sell sector was small, it was an interesting movement over there. The price for Commercial Bank "Banca de Economii" rose with 15 lei/share, from 165 lei/share to 180 lei/share. Probably the price was influenced by recent disclosure of financial result for the first quarter of 2009.

On voice auctions sector, attention was focused on the transaction with 13,05% of shares issued by JSC "Fabrica de conserve din Cosnita". 3,01 mil lei were offered for that package so the price was established at 10,46 lei/share. The sane shares were operated on the same sector less than a week ago with 7 lei/share.
