It seems that springtime brought some fresh air on the Moldova Stock Exchange as well. After dramatic down falls during 2008, is starting a new stable trend characterized by small increases. EVM Composite rose with 4 points during last week up to 2 259 points. The market turnover was 8,1 mil lei. And of course the 45 operated companies caused a good market activity which was amorphous for a while.

An unusual phenomenon for local market was the lack of transactions with bank's stocks. Not a single bank was operated on Moldova Stock Exchange. But this created enough space for other big companies from local industry: Alimcom, Floare-Carpet, Franzeluta, JLC, Supraten, Viorica-Cosmetics etc. For the last 3 mentioned companies, the price evolved with over 30%.

The most active share markets were Buy and sell (interactive share market) and Special Auctions.
